A celestial musical exploration of the moment, highlighted by the interactions between LED lights, wood and steel, Eastern & Western sounds. Tim Hulsman has the ability to make the hair stand up on the back of your neck, using only a slide guitar and his raw passion.
A live soundscape created by a group of young sound artists exploring improvised sound and noise and maybe a bit of music. Responding to the cacophony of sounds in the urban environment and to their own obsessions, Noise Scavengers will perform a short and very new work using found objects, repurposed instruments and subterranean technologies.
Performances at 7.30, 8.30 and 9.30pm
Drawing inspiration from the local1940’s Light Horse encampment in Torquay, the Projection Art of “Hoof prints in the Sand”, commemorates this years Anzac Centenary.
15 minute projection looped.

Pop in for some light-hearted entertainment with Pamela, a band featuring exhibiting artist Jon Campbell and contemporary artists Minna Gilligan and Georgina Glanville. This trio performs songs about the art world as well as covers of 60s and 70s pop songs.
This 5min work explores the struggle Australian teenagers face in order to have good body image.

The MarimbaTaters are students from Tate Street Primary School in East Geelong who love to play marimba! These senior primary students play a broad range of exciting marimba pieces, including African-inspired tunes.
Tim Sheed, Award Winning Australian Bush Poet & Balladeer, will tell the background story and then recite Banjo Patersons famous Classic Poem “The Man From Snowy River”.
Singing is one of the healthiest and heartwarming human activities available. Be energised, inspired and INCLUDED as you wander about Geelong After Dark amongst the arresting and fun vocal sounds of acabellas singers. You might encounter an all male group, an all female group or a mixed group. Acabellas Choirs love to pop up near you!
The band practices in the stables behind Osborne House, Swinburne St North Geelong every Wednesday night 7.30-9.30pm.
An installation by Alchemy 7 consisting of a beautiful dress made of fine copper wire woven into a honeycomb pattern by Amanda Hills, enveloped in a sound and light environment by Michael Gray, with songstress Rebecca Morton performing beautiful operatic arias. Inspired by the blue, alien Diva from the film "5th Element" and by the masked spectacle of the Venice Carnevale, this work aims to transport you to from the ordinary to the strange and extraordinary.
Local Spiral performers Tarn and her Hoop Fusion Hoopers hit the pavement again with this sleeky combination of hybrid hoopdance and traditional circus inspired hoop tricks, creating an edgy piece that is driven by Galactic Rainbow LED Hoops.
Projection light playground – Customs lawn will be transformed into a projection light playground that kids can run, jump and play on the projected moving images. The images will consist of moving shapes, bubbles, stairs that disappear, mazes and lots more.
The light, shade and power of the solo human voice is explored by fabulous operatic soprano Wendy Grose, performing glorious 11th century chants.

“Marine Puppets After Dark” is a startling parade of large sea creature puppets from Barwon Heads Primary School working with artists, Dan Goronszy, Nick Barlow, Liz McGrath and Penny Saunders. Follow the blue sea groper, fur seal and blue ringed octopus through the streets.
“Shadow Puppets After Dark” a delicious 3 minute show created by director James Pratt, Kaz McGlynn with Our Lady Star of the Sea Primary School Ocean Grove, adapting the Dreamtime story of “Boora the Pelican” to a shadow puppet show celebrating the unique environment of the Barwon River Estuary and Marine Sanctuary.
Take a walk on your wild side and promenade with the alpacas in a surprisingly unlikely place.
Visual artists Simon Macaulay, singer/ composer Rose Bygrave and writer Barry Hill collaborate to create an exquisite space to pay homage to the Kangaroo Grass, one of the most iconic species of the remnant grasslands. An evocative sound sculpture takes the listener on a poetic journey over time and through cultures.
Presented by Flogos, Custom Made Clouds will float above the roof top of Central Geelong.
