At this year’s Geelong After Dark Matt Bonner is the leading artist in large scale projection art. Matt will be showcasing his work on City Hall in Gheringhap St. There will be an opening piece called “Machine” which will transform the building into a mechanical machine with cogs, pistons and steam representing early industrialization.

“Grass Shrine” M~M@GAD

New Location: Gore Place

Visual artists Simon Macaulay, singer/ composer Rose Bygrave and writer Barry Hill collaborate to create an exquisite space to pay homage to the Kangaroo Grass, one of the most iconic species of the remnant grasslands. An evocative sound sculpture takes the listener on a poetic journey over time and through cultures.
