Bonkel Theatre combines original music and puppetry performance by Melbourne artists Enio Pozzebon and Trina Gaskell. 

Set in the early 20th century, Krysler Von Kapitalism courts Socialism, aiming to expose her to the wonders of capitalism as he sees it! The inevitable demise of the relationship comes to pass as he realises there is absolutely no place for her in his future.

Embark on a duet with Mx.Red and their lover but you must be invited. The tables turn as the performer selects who gets to join this polyamorous relationship. Beavs Bar is a portal to see the body of Mx.Red. Mx.Red is from another dimension made by artist Jonathan Homsey using motion capture technology, augmented reality and live performance to create an experience of dance, expression and intimacy beyond gender lines.

Gnomeless is an installation of gnomes in their true form, earth elementals, standing on piles of earth and treasure in the shadows. Dimly lit, of earth and stone, the gnomes are dispossessed and despised guardians of the underground. A limited edition of the Small Issue will be published in celebration of Geelong After Dark and offered to those able see the true nature of the gnome.

Keen to hear the voices of women from Geelong’s past, I stumbled on the story of two quirky and fascinating very early settlers: Anne Drysdale (1792-1853) and Caroline Newcomb (1812-1892). Despite an age gap of 20 years the women were partners, living together on the Bellarine and running a successful property between the Barwon River and Point Henry.
