At this year’s Geelong After Dark Matt Bonner is the leading artist in large scale projection art. Matt will be showcasing his work on City Hall in Gheringhap St. Matt's closing piece IS called “Electro light” which will transform the building into eye popping candy of colour synchronized to the beat.
Written and performed by Scott Welsh, this exhibition-style monologue features a true story of street poet selling his poetry years ago in Geelong, Sydney and Melbourne. It now returns to the streets of Geelong and will appear during Geelong After Dark as a projection from a live studio performance.
Flavours of contemporary rock blended with whispers of yesteryear's music are correlated to create a performance that connects with audiences on many levels.
A live soundscape created by a group of young sound artists exploring improvised sound and noise and maybe a bit of music. Responding to the cacophony of sounds in the urban environment and to their own obsessions, Noise Scavengers will perform a short and very new work using found objects, repurposed instruments and subterranean technologies.

Visual artists Simon Macaulay, singer/ composer Rose Bygrave and writer Barry Hill collaborate to create an exquisite space to pay homage to the Kangaroo Grass, one of the most iconic species of the remnant grasslands. An evocative sound sculpture takes the listener on a poetic journey over time and through cultures.
Presented by Flogos, Custom Made Clouds will float above the roof top of Central Geelong.
