Looking at the Stars is an installation exploring the ephemeral and transcendental qualities of light. Placed in the bluestone gutters of Gore Place a micro-universe of stars will be viewable amid the puddles. Composed of hundreds of submersible LED lights the flickering in the darkness illuminates a space for contemplation.

“Noise Scavengers” M~M@GAD

A live soundscape created by a group of young sound artists exploring improvised sound and noise and maybe a bit of music. Responding to the cacophony of sounds in the urban environment and to their own obsessions, Noise Scavengers will perform a short and very new work using found objects, repurposed instruments and subterranean technologies.

“Grass Shrine” M~M@GAD

Visual artists Simon Macaulay, singer/ composer Rose Bygrave and writer Barry Hill collaborate to create an exquisite space to pay homage to the Kangaroo Grass, one of the most iconic species of the remnant grasslands. An evocative sound sculpture takes the listener on a poetic journey over time and through cultures.
