Written in light

Illuminated text works in which artists utilise neon to convey their messages. Includes works by Janet Burchill & Jennifer McCamley, Jon Campbell, Sanja Pahoki, and Kiron Robinson, variously exploring cultural references, social commentary and human experience.

Lamps, lanterns & lighthouses

An eclectic selection of works from the permanent collection that includes representations of various sources of light. Includes historical and contemporary works by Yosl Bergner, Nadine Christensen, AC Cooke, Barry Gillard, Bill Henson, Eric Thake, and Peter Tyndall.

Telling tales

Narrative-based paintings, prints and photographs from the Victorian era to the present day that illustrate stories from the bible, classical mythology, historical events and daily life.
